Our client is a first tier supplier into the agricultural and aerospace building construction industry. Based in the USA and UK (Preston, Lancashire), due to continued year on year growth they are looking to recruit an experienced buyer.

Our candidate will have a proven track record of procurement within a manufacturing company. You will have your CIPS qualification and have experience of buying steel materials and components/fixtures. You will have good negotiation skills and the ability to provide cost reductions across a large scale manufacturing business.

Our candidate will have the ability to manage existing and develop new suppliers while managing on time delivery. You will introduce cost effective suppliers while negotiating improved payment terms.

Ideally you will be able to commute to Preston, Lancashire but that isn’t essential as you will be given all the tools needed to do the role.

Our client will offer a negotiable salary + benefits.
