Job description
Jenrick Engineering is urgently seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join an established and expanding Fabrication and Design company.
The successful applicant will be joining an established team of draughtsperson's, working on all aspects architectural metalwork. Using Tekla (preferable) or Autocad, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with responsibilities encompassing
· Designing Ballustrades, Canopies, Staircases, glazed screens, Sheet Metalwork etc
· Raising Technical queries
· Playing an active role in new design projects
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 8 years previous design experience in an Architectural Metalwork environment, and be fluent in Tekla or AutoCAD. Crucially candidates must be well versed in detailing steel to non-steel connections (Steel to Glass/ wood etc)

My client has a healthy order book and is looking to recruit a senior design engineer to work on a variety of educational projects. The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in the design of structural steel. Candidates must have a strong and extensive structural engineering track record, ideally 8 years + however candidates with less will still be looked at. Candidates should ideally be Chartered but it isn't necessary and be able to run projects on their own.
Your design capabilities will include Standard design codes, TEDDS - CSC, S-Frame, fastrak etc.

Job description
A multinational Engineering company is currently looking to recruit a Senior Structural Design Engineer (Offshore structures) for it’s offices in Abu Dhabi.
The role will involve carrying out lead engineering as well as hands on analysis and design work mainly for offshore structures. Work also involves structural design of RCC and steel structures for onshore structures.
- Candidates should have extensive experience (10 years or more) in structural engineering activities for brownfield and greenfield structures for offshore oil & gas platform.
- Hands-on experience necessary in use of SESAM structural analysis package. Additionally, experience in use of software packages such as SACS/ MicroSAS and STAAD preferred.
- Should have carried out independent structural design, analysis and preparation of reports for inplace / loadout / transportation / fatigue analysis.
- Should carry out offshore site surveys and prepare survey reports.
- Should provide structural arrangement and installation schemes and check structural drawings.
- Should be capable of leading a team of civil and structural engineers and interact with clients for general project engineering activities.
- Should hold a Degree in a relevent Engineering Discipline.
