Draughtsman

You will initially start on a temporary basis for a couple of days per week and if all works out well, there could be a full time permanent job at the end of it.

You will be able to use Autocad 2000 and have some Estimating experience within an Architectural metal and structural steel capacity.

Our client will consider a draughtsperson with estimating experience or an estimator with draughting experience 

Structural Steel Detailer using MULTISUITE 3D CAD software.

You MUST be proficient with MULTISUITE 3D software -
TEKLA 3D software may also be acceptable.

You should be an experienced Structural Steel detailer capable of working from Architects or Engineers layouts and design setouts and producing a full set of manufacturing drawings, both details and sub assemblies and associated documents, BOMs' for the workshop to manufacture accurately from.

You MUST be familiar with 3D MULTISUITE software and working alongside Autocad. TEKLA 3D software would also be useful to have a good knowledge of.

The work involves working for a very busy designer and manufacturer of Structural Steelwork. 
 

Our client is a leading oil and gas specialist for the offshore market. They have two new positions for Structural Draughtsman, to work on contract basis in their London Office. Applicants must have 3D Autocad as well as offshore industry experience. Structural steel experience is essential for these role as well as wind farm project experience. The start date for these positions will be mid September and it is projected to be ongoing projects. * You will be responsible for providing drawings and designs for the in-house detailers.

* The successful applicant MUST be an expert user of Tekla X-Steel.
* Candidates MUST have experience dealing with CAD for the fabrication of steel for large structures in the commercial building sector.
