Job description
Our client is a cash rich structural steelwork business which is part of a group. Due to expansion and increase in business won they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Director to look after the Commercial aspect of this award winning steelwork business.
The role
• Manage and motivate and develop a team of Commercial Managers
• Full P&L accountability for all the companies projects
• Must have contractual and commercial expertise, preferably at Director level however; they will consider someone who is currently a Commercial Manager looking to step up
• Represent the business at BCSA meetings and to clients
• Ability to Increase profitability of all projects
• Ensure the business is paid on time and reduce cash owed
• Ensure better relations with all clients
The individual
• Experience working for a BCSA affiliated Structural Steelwork contractor
• Experience at Commercial and Contracts Manager level
• Strong management experience
• Exceptional contractual and commercial knowledge
• Ability to drive and develop a team
• MUST have a structural steelwork background

The role
• Manage and motivate and develop a team of Contracts Managers and Commercial Managers
